November 2022 Biz Update

Hi everyone! I thought it was time for a bit of a Christmas product update.

It's been such a bizarre autumn season for myself and my family. With my Mom being in the hospital and visiting often, to our second vehicle being written off - my schedule and my time to work on my business and to create Christmas products has been severely impacted. I had to make a decision to allow myself to rest more, put my family first and just do what I can. It's ingrained in me to hustle and to just push through things but this season I found that I just couldn't do that. I was burning out. I needed rest and to make some shifts. 

I had some lovely plans for this winter season and they've been (somewhat) thrown out the window. I'm still a bit sad by that but I've decided I'm just going to embrace the shift this season and just see what I can do. I'm going to continue to be gentle with myself, prioritizing rest and rejuvenation, make sure our kids get to their events and aim to do the best I can instead of making big goals and failing. I'm going "to lean in to the goodness embedded in what is small" (quote by @sarah_westfall).

I'm choosing to let go of feeling disappointed and to be thankful that this is only just a season. Today I am SO thankful that we just found a used second vehicle to purchase - and this will help my family's schedules tremendously! I'm choosing to give myself mercy and grace - and to feel gratitude that I am able to make small steps even if they aren't the big steps I had imagined I'd take right now. 

So... what does this mean for you?

Meanwhile, digital products are still available in my Etsy Shop <aglimpseofjoy>.

I plan to bring PHYSICAL items into the shop on this website - and while I was hoping it would be ready by now, it isn't. So... if I can manage it in the next few weeks, I'll let you know! But I'll aim to have physical products in the shop for 2023. And I am so excited about that!
